Last evening Berks DES was made aware of a technical difficulty with the software that exports CAD data to the various records management services. Thankfully this was quickly resolved once it was noticed, however there was a significant amount of time that information was not sent via this service. From approximately 0900 until 2100 on February 13, 2020, this service was unavailable and did not send any CAD data to the server. As a result of this, any incident data between that time will need to be obtained using WebCAD. It is not and will not be available for CAD import into your records management software. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

We will be performing maintenance on the CAD servers today beginning at 0900. This maintenance will cause service interruptions to CAD, Text Paging, Mobile CAD and WebCAD for approximately 1 hour. Prior to the services going down, an announcement will be made over the appropriate frequencies, as it will be announced over these frequencies when users can resume normal operations. Field users/agencies are urged not to call DES for incident data on the day of the outage unless the need for the data sought is of critical nature. All data will be available via WebCAD no later than 1200hrs notwithstanding extreme unanticipated hurdles resulting in a longer outage. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!
